Membership
Guidelines
- There will be only one category of membership, valid for life – Life member – Cardiologists, who are actively performing and/or interested in pacing or electrophysiology procedures after completion of their cardiology degree (DM, DNB or equivalent) are eligible to apply and seek membership.
- Request for membership shall be made on the prescribed forms supplied by the secretary. These would be scrutinized by the credential committee and approved by the executive committee. All application forms shall be accompanied by documentary evidence of eligibility and prescribed fee. No application shall be considered unless the applicant has:
- Promised to abide by the rules and byelaws and all the decisions taken by the Society in respect of the amendments of rules and byelaws
- Subscribed in writing to carry out to the best of his capacity the objectives of the Society.
- Deposits the prescribed subscription fees at the time of applying for the membership.
- A member shall lose his/her membership on death, resignation, or if he is found to be of unsound mind or a hindrance to the achievement of the objectives of the Society.
- The life membership fee shall be Rs.1,000/-
